Bracha Etengoff is an attorney and mediator at Law & Mediation Office of Bracha Etengoff, bringing broad-based experience to every matter she handles. Her practice spans wills, trusts, and probate; prenuptial agreements and family mediation; and guardianships. With a Master’s degree in Psychology alongside her J.D., Bracha brings both legal skill and genuine sensitivity to her clients’ needs, and serves clients throughout New York State.
Bracha has helped clients secure loan modifications that prevented foreclosure. Earlier in her career, she spent two years litigating environmental cases on behalf of public interest organizations, including the Sierra Club, and before that supervised Surrogate’s Court proceedings and litigated mass tort cases as an Associate at Levy Konigsberg.
She began her legal career as an intern in the chambers of the Hon. Sonia Sotomayor (then of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit) and studied alternative dispute resolution in law school. Bracha has coached mediation trainings and previously served as Co-Chair of the Trusts and Estates Mentoring Circle at the NYC Bar Association.
Outside the office, Bracha enjoys hiking, singing, and writing. She’s a contributor to , an anthology exploring human existence as a time-bound gift and encouraging readers to live with purpose. Her poem On This Ledge, which reflects on the human capacity for resilience, appears in the .
